Some Guid Scottish Words

Here’s the next in a series of occasional posts on Scots or dialect words commonly used in Scotland.
Gab: to chat, or someone who’s a bit too fond of chatting.
Gallus: bold, cheeky with a touch of daring.
Gowan: A daisy
Grumph: A grumpy person

Guddle: A muddle, a mess (a second meaning refers to trying to catch fish with bare hands).
